I'm a Visual Maths programmer: I can count money.
OK, a serious one then :) . I was crap at maths at first, but woke up one day and suddenly understood it. A few years later, I had a chance to put my knowledge to the test by translating a manufacturing process to a series of calculations. I introduced changes, and overnight got the breakage levels down from around 5 to 8 percent down to 0.3%, and later to 0.013%. That got my pay up to £20 grand a year - not bad considering it was 20 years ago. Maths is cool. (and now I'm a part-time school bus driver :cry: )Quote:

I was only ever serious in Maths when I was at UNI. I study it so hard i'd always get passing grades.
I can only memorize numbers, and utterly fail other memorization jobs (economics, etc etc)
I can count. :D
I took college level calculus in high school... then dropped calculus when I was in college because it was too easy... Now I just code...
God asked me for advice when designing the universe. I charged him double because it was Sunday.
