My Bro just got an Xbox, he only has two games though at the mo, what games would you recommend. It did take alot of hard work over the summer holidays to save up for.

it says i have 448mb of RAM. Guess i should get some more huh? :P
yeah its using 64 for the onboard graphics ..
you could either add a PCI Express Video card, or more memory.
Well i have some memory cards in my old computer, don't know how much they are.Quote:

EDIT - thought you said Video Cards .. well if they are DDR Memory and either 333 or 400 they should work. If you use 333 though with the current 400 Mhz they will both run at 333 Mhz.
I have no idea what that means. lol. I have not checked yet. doing it right now.
Look on the old memory, somewhere on the white label it should say what it is ..Quote:

this is what the label says:

ok so its 333Mhz (2700), while the new memory in the new PC is 400Mhz (3200)
they should work together, but the new memory wont run at 400 Mhz speed if used with that memory .. they would both run at 333 Mhz .. if its just 256MB you may want to leave it for now, until you get either 400 Mhz or at least 512MB memory.
Just so you know, most of the memory I am using now is 667 Mhz, the least is 533Mhz, but thats DDR2 so it needs a newer motherboard.
What about 1 gig memory?Quote:

No i dont. I was just saying, if i got a 1 gig RAM card, what would it do?Quote:

Oh OK. I am planing to get the TV tunner for my computer, would that need more ram?Quote:

But for the video display as well as running other programs, you should yes, add more Ram. With DVRs they are tweaked to the max and only run the DVR software, so they really dont compare.
I've never used the ATI Chipset so its hard to say.
