When we get avatar ads, signature ads, mouse-hovers-on-page-so-display-an-ad-at-the-middle ads, popupmenu click ad, menudropdown ad, click any button ads, hold special keyboard key down ads and last but not least: escape button ads, for those who stop animation (and thus GIF ads) by pushing it.

Better still...get rid of all but one forum and fill up all the real estate you gained with new ads. The one forum left will be able discussion of which ads you like best and why. And the above ideas will apply to the posts in that forum.

I forgot one. One important. An ad that floats more or less transparently with the scrolling of a page, and sometimes flashes to fully opaque and then fades away again.

That'd be effective.

You should ban all the blind users. They can't see the ad's :)

Yep John was the owner, we all helped him become a millionare
now vB is all over the place, if i want a license i have to pay for it.. shame shame..

yes it was vbworld just as i was coming i think then it became vb forums.
