Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
ok then fair enough, i guess that would be near impossible. Have to agree the battle with sephiroth at the end of VII was much to easy though, i'd spent ages working up my characters and materia so i had a master green yellow and red materia, and all my characters were level 95+, did this to beat the weapons, and then wen i came to fight sephiroth i never actually got to attack cos he attacked first and my counter-attack killed him :D
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
They should do the same as some games (I think some of the Star Wars games do it) where the stronger your characters get the stronger the bosses get. Always makes the boss fight interesting then
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
Didn't one of FF games have that, where the monsters would get stronger depending on your level?
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
not that I can remember (although I only played 7,8,10 and 10 part 2). May be wrong though as I didn't finish X-2, got bored of it.

Myst sucks, Fate of Atlantis was excellent, but is almost impossible to find/install unless you still have a 386 kicking around, very atmospheric game though, I thought they were going to make a movie out of it as the last Indiana Jones episode..
Space Quest 2 was almost illegally awful.
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
It's a shame as it was one of the best adventure games I've played, perhaps they should remake it using today's wonderous graphical achievements?
Myst was okay for it's time. Basically a showpiece of how much better graphics were. Now it's pretty old. Not many good adventure games at the moment as they are all going down the MMORPG route which is a shame

Heaven forbid that people might actually sit down with pen, paper and a few funny shaped dice.
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
Anybody here played Indigo Prophecy?

I just got that from a friend. I haven't started to play it yet. Did you?
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
I finished it (just 1 from 3 possible ends).
You'll want to play same parts again or use different profiles because the adventure depends on what you do, different things happends.
Here is a good review:Link
Indigo prophecy is a censored version (USA version) from the non censored (European original version) named Fahrenheit.
Re: [serious] Adventure Games (PC)
Yeah, I got Farenheit... I didn't know that they were different versions. I just thought it was one of those "also known as" things. What is actually censored?
