But still if your doing something in less then 1 second wouldnt there be a better way? What are you needing the Timer to time?

the "less than one second" is random. the intervals range from like ten seconds to about .3 seconds, and I need to time the interval so that each time the interval is up I can display a new number
so is there nothing that i can do?
