Is knowledge of Firefly required if one were to watch the movie?
No, I haven't seen Firefly but still enjoyed the film
I must say, I did have my doubts about this one, but it turned out to be pretty damn good! Very well written and directed, just one part made me cringe, and it almost ruined the flow of the movie.
Towards the end, when Jewel Staite says "Sex?"
L-A-M-E-A-S-S.
Thanks for the reccommendation, whoever started this thread. :)
lol your welcome
Well if you watch the TV shows, you realize how badly she wants to be drilled by Simon. :eek2:Quote:

Is this programme as good as Lexx?
You ought to go back and get the series on DVD.Quote:

Don't mean to be a prude, (guess I am now :) ) but the other cheese factor was the way River walked and talked. A constant.
I still gave it a rating of 9 on IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379786/
I think it might hit the Top 250 list pretty soon.

If it's a reality show or a sex-laced drama series, the episodes get here before they're made. If it even remotely hints at intelligent concepts, they bury it in a mountain of Yorkshire pudding.

It ran three seasons on the Fox Network.... so whether or not it ends up under that pudding is anyone''s guess.Quote:

Apparently there is a film in the works so that'll probably be the end
A film on the Simpsons or Futurama?
It ran for less than a season. They made something like 13 or 14 episodes but only aired 11 of them i believe. You can get the entire series on one dvd set from places like best buy or amazon.Quote:

I wonder what the theme will be... Marge gets pregnant with another kid?
You could take that in several ways
Come to think of it, the same with the above sentence.
Don't talk about Marge like that. She is an angel of a woman.
Probably end up with that episode where Lisa gets a future prediction and you see Bart as a ladies man, Lisa in University and Maggie all grown up. It will probably end up with Maggie finally speaking as that's been a common theme throughout (and yes I know she's said things like "Daddy" and so on, but I meant proper conversational talking)
Lisa marrys Nelson.
I saw the movie on DVD at the weekend and thought it was complete pants.
Big screen movie with TV sets and crapola special effects.
Sponge Bob the movie was far better.
I'm gonna buy it then! :afrog:
Buy pants?Quote:

I'm sorry but considering how much they fought to get this film to be made, and a great film they made the least you could do is show your support for this low-budget film by forking out a couple of quid for it. It's only a tenner for crying out loud!
Happy days! Got the Firefly DVD boxset for Christmas. I had pretty much watched them all by the end of Christmas week and am going through them again
WHY DID THEY CANCEL THIS SHOW????
