I can't give a proper guide, I've been so careful picking my girlfriend, I know I can spend the rest of my life for her. Only three months on 1.1. - the more time passes, the better I can tell...

So, why has she left you? The issue here is not her sexuality, she probably felt trapped, you could only do right by her, that meant the only way she could escape was doing wrong by you. In short, what you had wasn't real. Real love is implicit, its give an take, mutual and it survives all.

Keep searching my friend, there's sure to be someone out there for you who will birhgren your light. And think of this as a good thing not a bad thing, you were engaged, it could have been a lot worse. Everything happens for a reason. :wave:

Before CJ came along, what we had was real true love. She had problems of course, but there were good qualities about her as well (although very little). She was like a best friend; someone I could talk to when I have problems. She was understanding, nice, caring, and did buy things for me with the little money she had for valentines, Christmas, Birthdays, etc. We said "I love you" to each other numerous times a day and usually talked on how much we loved each other.

But before CJ, I do see what you mean. She drove all the way to Kissimmee from Cocoa Beach (1 1/2 hours away) to pick me up almost every weekend. I paid for the gas/food every time. Everytime we get to her moms place (her mom is hardly ever there) we had sex. Usually twice/three times at one time everyday over the weekend. Whenever we are at stores, and she sees what she wants, she usually asks me to buy it for her. Etc etc etc.

• She has A.D.D.
• All she wanted most of the time was sex. (Sounds good for a lot of guys but this is a problem once you think about it. This problem became an even bigger problem when CJ came along because she hardly was communicating with me and hardly coming over unless she needed something and I had a hard time getting a hold of her and couldn't come over.)
• She has a hard time expressing her true emotions.
• She has been using me lately for rent/food/gas money.
• She's been cheating on me.
• Whenever she comes over to my house, she doesn't talk to my family and just goes into my room. She also hates my family for some unknown reason.
• She doesn't respect her own mother.
• She's a loser.
• She's obviously not that smart.
• She's now gay. :cry:

You know, I've done more for her than any boyfriend/girlfriend would ever do for her. I happen to be the nicest guy in the world. Aside from the long list of problems she has, I loved her anyways. Love is blind ya know. And with her personal decision to do this to me...around freakin Christmas for crying out loud, she is the one losing. It gets easier, I've been there. It will be hard to begin with, just broke up with my g/f and there I was, expecting her to break my heart like my first love, but she didn't. So no, women are not all the same.

Being a perfect boyfriend is not just about accepting the bad things, its also about knowing when to be nasty to be nice. I obviously don't know the situation like you do, but in my case;

This girl I was with when I was 18, I would have done anything for, including travel half way around the world just to be with her (which I did). I ignored the bad things at the time because I loved her and thought I was doing the right thing, but in reality I was scared that by objecting to the bad things, I would make her mad and drive her away.

Think of a relationship like parenting, if you are laid back and try and do everything to make your children happy, they will grow up spoilt an un happy. I'm telling you your biggest mistake:

People bleating about failed relationships are just tiring. Don't moan on here about it, we don't care. Take a page from NotLKH's book - go and sniff some dirty knickers. :)

I was in a similar situation when I was younger and it taught me a few things.

1) You can't control the behavior of another person, no matter how hard you try. So don't bother trying!

2) Your better off without someone who is a) confused about their sexuality. b) Blatantly lies to you about what she is doing and who she is with c) Expects a christmas gift after she breaks up with you...I would have burned it in front of her and told her to FO.

3) There's no sense crying over something you can't control, so go out and have fun with your friends, meet new women, get over it and get under someone else!

I am now married and have 2 daughters, because after the psycho and I broke up, I decided not to sit around and cry about how she did me wrong, or how she betrayed my trust or how sad I was. It gave me the freedom to go out and do what I wanted with my friends, which ultimately led to me meeting my wife.

So, get over it...Everyone's heart gets broken...quit crying about it and get on with your life.

And women aren't all the same...I am in a wonderful, trusting, loving, passionate relationship with my wife, who I adore immensely. She makes my world a brighter place and makes me want to be a better person. I love her with all of my heart.

Oops, sorry...does that sting, knowing that some of us are in wonderful relationships, while you suffer the incredible loss of a woman who lied, cheated and used you....while you sat there and allowed it to happen!

After a talk with my boss and my family about how hard this was on me, I began to feel better about this. It's good to talk to people. You people are right and I already knew this before hand. You guys don't care about what happend. You were not there. You don't know me or my ex girlfriend or even CJ. It helped me to at least just let people know what happened just so I can get it off my chest. Sarah did not have to lie, cheat, and take advantage of me after meeting CJ. I would have felt a little better about the break up if she told me around that time she has met her. but instead, she made it hard on me and did it before Christmas.

I now realize that I don't want her back. Not just because she is now gay, but the fact that she will do all of this to me again in the future. I just hope she enjoys her new life style and at least realize that what she did was very low and immoral. Being best friends with her later on at least I wouldn't mind though. She was a good person to be friends with before CJ. One thing is for sure, I will never be gullable when being a little too nice to a girl ever again.
