I need an artist to come up with 4 images for me...
Specification:
* Gif Format
* 100x100 pixels
* Not animated :)
Images:
1. Rock
2. Paper
3. Scissors
4. Nuclear Mushroom Cloud
Style:
A style that would not look out of place on a webbrowser toolbar. White background please. Doesn't have to be a Rembrandt, just a nice simple set of images please. Contributor will get a credit in the library :D

Do I have to write my thing in VB.NET or can I just try it in VB6?

Now to remember what the damn screen looks like! If anyone can remember what font and/or approximate color of the message that would be great.

The "It is safe to shut your computer down." screen, I haven't seen it in years so no clue what it looks like anymore, searching google for an image of it.
I found this image, attached. It's surprising, very few pics of this remain. It's as if nobody shuts down anymore. :p

If you want one the proper size and everything then you can find it in the Windows DIR on a pre-WinXP Machine....can't remember the file name but its basically a bmp file but given a different extension.Quote:

Make a separate copy of it, change the extension of the copy to .BMP, and you can see it.

Decided to scrap my paper scissors stone class (sorry mend), couldn't really see the point in the end. Wasn't entertaining enough for the amount of work required. :D

For what it's worth, the MeaningOfLife class is probably just as "pointless." I think it's about how you present it. After all, that's what the Sandpaper class is all about. :)
I've finally decided the "flow" for the meaningoflife class. I'm still looking for quotes that Deep Thought could spit out at the user. Martin Liss' link was fine, but I need more!
I'm thinking that instead of something that only Deep Thought could say, I'll put in anything at all from H2G2.

I have also put forward one of my old classes: XBase. Its just a Radix Conversion class but its fast and reliable and I've always wanted to publish it. :D w00t.
PS. My Analog Clock class (Clox0r) can now run backwards! Just like as if it was reflected in a mirror. This is in response to a post on the Math forum thread about it. Pretty sweet...

I'm almost done, but there's something I need to ask.
Take a look at the attachment. You'll see that when the DeepThought tooltip has no 'comment' section in it, but the XMLDocument's tooltip does have the comments there.
How can I achieve this part? I'd really like to have some comments there.

No can do I'm afraid. There was a thread about this on the VB forum a few weeks ago.
If this was a C# project we'd be able to provide this intellisense comment. You may have seen this in some C# code...

We have ComponentOne's Doc-To-Help at work. Whatever documentation there is that will accompany the classes can be compiled into a CHM or an MS Help 2.0 help file.
Please be sure to include documentation, and you don't have to stick to 'conventional' writing. ;)
I think the documentation should be in the same vein as the class that it describes. Say, a sensible class should have proper documentation, a slightly less straight faced one could be a short essay on Bavarian Cattle for example.

And here it is ladies and gentlemen, the Transl33tor :D Very simple, and easily expandable. Since I am not fluent in 1337 sp34k, I am sure someone can perfect it for me or make the .Net version (contact wossy) :)
I just created a Holy Commandment generator, very funny!
The first line it generated (rather spookily I think) was:
"Thou shalt covet God's code."
followed by:
"Thou shalt not worship Satan's Macintosh."
Maybe its a sign! God has spoken to me! I have a direct line to the almighty, I'll hang up on him if he calls back.
