I have bookmarked this thread. And when Cander gives us a wink when the release is out, I would be happy to work togheter with any of you guys.
But the problem is the time. If I have time when the SDK comes out, I will get back to this thread and hear who got the time to join, and if I don't I hope those who starts on it will have a lot of fun.

I am still trying to find some good reference images to model that butterfly for you NoteMe.
Do you mean like a picture too look at? Do you need it in more then one angle? I think I know of a butterfly that oyu would like. Let me have a look...;)
In the 3D demos from ATI for the 9800 cards Alex Vlachos (think he was the head of the 3D department last year) made a screen saver demo to show off the new Pixel and Vertex shaders that DX9 came with.
You can find the demo here (both exe and MPG) screenshots of that butterfly and you got it..:D...at least that is my 2 centes..:D

PS: You can zoom in on it, and change the view if you use the EXE. But if you don't have a DX9 card, I am not sure if you can use it.
What I need is a good top and side profile, preferably black and white drawn. You can place the images into your modeller viewports and you 'trace' them out.

Yeah I figured that was what you needed. You can get all angels of that exe file. But I don't think you can have it in Black and white. If I had the source I could make it black and white for you...:D or even in wireframe...:D
