mac:
apple -> control -> tcp / ip
win:
start -> settings -> control panel -> network -> tcp/ip
change the IP to on character different
I.e. 24.27.128.69
change it to something like
42.27.128.69
Just be careful they're aren't monitoring the computers on the server as they'll be sure to come to fix the problem, plus if it's a network dependent system dis-connection may block your access, best way to evade it is to get faculty access on the system and change whatever you want, my school is extremely stupid, if you just hit cancel it won't connect to the server and you're free to do what you want.
Oh yes, if all else fails, re-boot, when it gets to starting windows, hit F8, choose Sofe Mode Command Prompt Only, rename the gay ass norton(what my school uses) or whatever directory to something else, or you could change the autoexec.bat, system.ini, win.ini, they all have start-up sections.
If you really want you could make a bunch of fake porno directories to **** with them >=o].

as much as microsoft sucks, they are all human (besides bill gates who's a robot) and if it wan't for MS then the computer industry would not be where it is today, microsoft makes new technologies and people copy them, VB was made by MS so if it wan't for them, we woun't be here right now. I think that microsoft has its down points and then again, it also has its up points.

The code itself was written by Microsoft and they made the first bussiness compiler but Basic was made by another company...maybe someone else knows the company.
U know even DOS wasn't Microsofts Code :)
Seattle Computers wrote it for thier broad.
