However, in my original post what was implied, but not actually said, was that in a more primitive society (sharing) that people in the society were more likely to live at the same standard of living. Capitalism does not provide that. It provides opportunity for those who know the "game" and are mentally capable. The not-so-capable get left far behind.
My argument isn't against capitalism. It's against your notion that all can excel under it. I think that is fundamentally untrue.
