And also make a new thread here whenever you decide on a new video card. You think that system is good, you ain't seen nuthin yet
put that setting on adapter default instead of 60hz. and most of the time I try to go with old ATI drivers as the beta ones are just that, beta. even if they say reliable or something.
and you got real lucky for it to not be an IRQ clash. I couldn't get my nic and ata100 controller drivers to work on the same IRQ and couldn't change either one. needless to say I can't use the ata100 controller.
Well It was looping for 4hours. So think that did it WOOOOHOOOO. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :) :) :) :) :)
Glad it works :cool:Quote:

Apparently there is a bug with the new ATI drivers that is related to Refresh Rate.
A bug with ATI drivers? Really? ;)Quote:

Hehe, their 8500 drivers are much improved over the drivers for the Rage 6C chip (used in Radeon 7000, 7200, original, and 7500), and I've heard they have plans for unified drivers which should be almost as good as NVIDIA's.
Perchance you've noticed the problem is solved? ;)Quote:
