America & Allies (including OZ) invade, defeat Taliban government forces. Captured prisoners sent to Cuba denied POW status legal representation, are tortured (deprevation), and generally mis treated.
Many non US newspapers point out this is prehaps lowering yourself to the Talibans level, and forgetting about democracy yadda yadda yadda
UN protests about treatment, Brit government protests etc etc
Oh and your Pres convenes military tribunals outside the normal legal systems of your country.
That's about it so far.
