I would be willing to chip in if I can, but I have some time constraints (i.e. school work [exams suck]) so I can't devote my entire existence to it ;)

Remember, ASP = VB!
Goto http://www.learnasp.com/ to learn asp. Its seriously not that hard. If you are a vb programmer, then you are an asp programmer also, you might not know it but you are. Anyways, Get a simple page with 10-15 links. The other thing is, I like php/mysql because you can do much more than you can with plain asp (but you can do much more with asp, using ActiveX controlls). But all of that depends on the server.

Hey, I checked out your site, and I have a few comments for you.
Very good for an alpha build....but
The animated gif's have got to go. gifs suck.
Make the background a flat color or a gradent one. Patterns also suck.
I would put the search on the side, and have a "directory" as part of the main body.(look at www.ebay.com for a better show of this)
I could give a helping hand, I have a copy of frontpage which I can do amazing things with. (yes I know, some think it is a crutch)
Life and school come first, but I could help with some stuff, Q/A is a pet peave of mine. I could also maybe add some content.

The whole site went to hell-in-a-pan due to host issues. The forum is stiill there though.
I will be re-doing the whole thoing in ASP.NET this winter.
Subbmit threads with ideas for then. In the meantime it might be an idea to create a really good attempt at a diffinative list of gamewritter sites. I can talk to the owner of www.Mad-Den.net and get a review page dedicated to the subject perhaps.
