We've got like 3 police officers always on campus... They should probably add more though because school's only been in for a month and there's been like 8 fights.... :o :eek:

This may sound odd... but I don't see how having police around helps stop fights. Unless you mean, like, gunfights or knife fights or something like that. Just for fistfights though.... *shrug* seems a little silly.

I think you'll find that fistfights have been going on in schools for bloody ages. I don't see a sudden need to now cry out "BUT WAIT!! Some fistfights can be lethal!! We must spend lots of money on having police at all schools!"

Life involves risk. If you weren't prepared to accept risk you wouldn't bother to get out of bed in the morning, or you'd just kill yourself now.

Society is much more sensititve to violence than thirty years ago. But you're right about risk.

I guess you're mostly right H, but last year there was a fight and it took all three campus police, plus about four teachers to stop it. The people involved in the fight wanted to kill each other.

I don't think there's ever been a knife or gunfight at the school(while I've attended there), so that's a good thing....

But I bet my life savings there's been a gun or knife in the school.
