Like the bells at the end of a period : ex-cel-lent :D
Far better than the average....
FYI 35k is v.upper sen. mgmt in (un)Civil Service Speak...chances are you'll spend more time in meetings than actually doing any work...
he said the job was 50% coding, 25% project leading. 25% analysis. it sounds almost too good to be true as it's the kind of job I would like to get into to start furthering my career, I.E. not just being a grunt :)
Who? Your agent?Quote:

My motor sport agent can be full of that at times...
Sounds really great Ian! :D, you going to commute into London?
THe job, but I know full well how agents hype everything up, it's their job. but as I said, I'm not getting too excited over it becuase 9 times out of 10, I probably won't here from him again
Yeah, at first. been doing it on and off for the lst two and a half years anyway, so I'm well used to it. and if all things go well, I'll probably move up there in the future :)Quote:

Almost time to see England crash out of the world cup. Get your kleenex ready chaps !
Right! Enough of pissing on Ian's bonfire.... I going to delve into the main forums and try and help people....
Working is a big bag of arse anyway :(
Hey Wally,we are certainly shaking in our boots after the Belgians' surefooted performance against the mighty Japanese :p
The tournament wouldn't have benefitted from the collective hara kiri of the Jap squad after certain defeat so we've let them equalise.
If they eventually do commit hara kiri, we won't be responsible.
Besides, is the Man U private jet already under way ?
ROTFLMFAO :D
we've just hooked up our projector to to a video, stuck on my cambridge works speakers, and we now have big screen tele up against a wall to watch the footie in the office :D
We can't even access sports sites on our internet connection
also received this from HR yesterday:
"Just a reminder that the usual "smart casual" dress code applies for tomorrow's dress down day - and this does not include wearing football kits !!"
so, I'm wearing a dress instead - much more acceptable
Only downside is that we've currently got the parkinson interview on with posh and becks  ;)
The one where Posh [sic] gets her baps out?
What all this job business then mate? Sound sound liek you've got stuff coming your way now....
Neatly side-stepped the issue gaffs :D
Ian is advancing in the world. With any luck he'll be janitor at 40
Yeah, things are starting to look up, I'm getting about 5 phone calls a week now from varios agents, got my cv posted on jobserve, totaljobs, monster and a few others. All of them are comming back with the "Possible" roles they have for me, just nothing set in stone yet. feeling a little more optimistic now :)Quote:
