Yeah. In the UK a working environment must be at least 17C where employees do most of their work sitting down. If it's not then you can legally go home with full pay :)
Although people usually turn the heater up :p

I have never heard of such a thing here. Probably because we've never run into a problem of running out of electricity for heat. With the looks of it now, we may see something like that come into effect.
wow... 17C.... thats warm for me..
I just checked on the conversion of 17 C to F and that's only 32 F. That's still freezing cold. I wouldn't be able to type if my fingers were in 32 F all day.
Um...32F is 0C...freezing point of water...
It's 61F (just checked a thermometer)
What was I thinking....(apparently nothing)!
I must have done the conversion from F to C instead of C to F.
I guess it's not that cold then.
I still prefer about 68 - 72 F.
And no one wants to post in case they post too many and let someone else have the 3000th post :)
John
4,000th
I

and I'm talking to a few people on ICQ......
but, to make it fair.. lets let john post the 4000th post......
that way nobody deletes any of there previous posts to make them be the 4000th post poster....
