Nothing exciting going on???
Me either, most exciting thing was a crown came off my tooth. Luckily got into the dentist pretty quickly. Even more lucky was they just had to recement it and not replace it. A new one is @ $2k. That always hurts.
Nope. Right now, I'm playing the "it's works fine in staging but is as slow as a snail in production" game which is never fun.
Coincidentally, my kids have a dentist appointment this morning. They literally just left the house.
Turtles don't learn. I caught a soft shelled turtle (perhaps the meanest turtle in the world). Rather than getting near that mouth, I just cut the line. I then tied on a new hook...and promptly caught the exact same turtle. So, now I left him with two piercings. A very punk turtle, by that point.Quote:

I checked out a few of your entries. Your very prolific. That journal will probably be longer than War and Peace by the end of your trip. :)
Well, yeah. Every day is a day, and there will be a lot of them.
I'm far to lazy for that complete of a description of the journey. My journal would end up being the size of a pamphlet. :)
I can't write very well.
I tend to write too many words.
Although, I do know how to use: they're going over there for their stuff.
And I know that in order to include palindromes that the letters need to be the same read forward as they are backwards, e.g. racecar. Radar is a palindrome too.

I do tend to write a lot. I'm a quick typist, so typing words is easier than any other type of writing for me.
I also know that there are a class of sentence that can be spoken, but which cannot be correctly written. I try to avoid using those.
Writing is different today. When I was in college I had to use a typewriter, a dictionary and white out. Some mistakes were so bad you just had to retype the whole page. Being a slow two finger typer, just made it a long task. Which I never enjoyed. What's nice about a forum like this is I don't care much if my sentencing is correct.
When I was in high school I took a typing class and got to be a fairly quick touch typist and I enjoyed it. But things change.

If I get hot under the sun, resting under shade cools me off.
It’s crazy how well the shade cools you down too.
Suppose to be 102 here today and 104 tomorrow. Feel bad for my son he's going to be camping in this heat for the next three days.

Oof, that's got to be miserable.
I used to really enjoy camping when I was younger. Now I'd prefer staying in my camper and call it camping.
I'm hiding from heat and humidity today. A front is coming. Tomorrow will start some nice weather.
Yeah, he is tent camping. But they're at a lake so he should be able to cool off if he wants. Sleeping might be a problem. As long as my AC doesn't quit the heat wont bother me at all.Quote:
