Yeah, I know, but then I go biking and realize I'm one of them.

My family and I took the train from New Orleans to Chicago then from Chicago to Denver to visit my sister in law. It’s been a cool experience so far.
Traveling by train can be pretty nice.
We took coach the entire way. From NOLA to Chicago it was rough and particularly around Memphis the other commenters were rude and flat out disrespectful, but from Chicago to Denver it was much smoother and the commuters were much nicer and respected the rules around the non commuter car.
Sleeping was a bit rough, but certainly not unbearable.
@homer - Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders?
I heard that he didn't interview well. I'm not sure what that means. It probably means a whole lot with very few words.
To be honest, I'm surprised that the Saints picked that guy from Louisville over him. Gayle Benson needs to sell the team if she can't bring herself to fire Mickey Loomis.
The draft is such a crap shoot. Being a football fan for over 50yrs I've seen first rounders after first rounders flop. I believe Brady was a sixed round choice. Though your odds of picking a pro bowler improves with someone that has demonstrated high quality athletic skills.
Some teams do tend to produce more pro bowlers than others. Is it their drafting skills or their coaching skills?
I tend not to get very excited about the draft. The NFL is a different beast than college football. Though it does feel like the QB's coming out of college now are able to preform at an NFL level more quickly.
Hard up come with how this guy thought this was right. https://www.nbcnews.com/sports/nfl/s...ich-rcna203222
Feel bad for Sanders. The draft was rough enough without this happening to him.
Yeah, I had seen that. Really messed up.
He really needed people to tell him that was a bad thing to do?
Yeah, he was sixth round, and Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant, the final pick of the draft.
I do think that current college football does a better job of preparing some quarterbacks for the NFL, but it depends on the system and the competition. One issue is that most of the people college quarterbacks play against are not good enough to make the NFL even as backups. That means that EVERYBODY they face in the NFL will be about as good as the best they face in college. Hard to prepare for that.
My refrigerator is quite sessile.
It's very chill.
I had to look that one up too. I really wish my vocabulary, really my entire reading/writing in general, was better.
That's a term from biology, which is pretty much my career. I'm not sure that I've ever seen it used in any other context, but we use it a fair amount. In fact, I believe I've only seen it in aquatic biology, but I suppose I haven't spent much time elsewhere. For land creatures, sessile organisms are called plants.
I inadvertently gaze upon sessile organisms sunning themselves at the beach.
Sometimes it's not inadvertent.
This race is posty.
Here we are in May. There is the question, "what is so rare as a day in June?", but those really aren't all that rare. Days in February, especially February 29th, are much more rare. Meanwhile April showers bring May flowers, while Mayflowers bring pilgrims. Other than that, I sank my mayo.
We may reach 90 degrees by the end of the week, it would be the third high temperature record broken so far this year.
Actually, just this spring. I don't know whether we broke any records during the winter. It felt pretty normal, to me.
I also found out that my irrigation was turned off. I don't have control of the valve. My neighbor's landscaper turns off the water when they blow out the sprinkler system in the fall, and sometimes they don't turn it back on. It's a water economy.
Who remembers postist days of 1800s explained on a nationalist history book made by the goverment(this is a sarcastic joke do NOT take it seriously)
Except when we're being serious.
But not when we're being Sirius.
In that case, we should be reported to the ministry of magic.
If we really were sirius, would we be dogging it?
This is a new day.
What is so rare as an uncooked steak, still walking around and mooing, in May?
