Post Race!

I've been doing a lot of PHP recently, almost completely forgot about VB :eek:
I undertook a project that was bigger than I thought, and ended up spending 6 months on getting it to work (not bad seeing as I'd never used PHP before :rolleyes: )
I'm now taking version 2 at a much slower pace, and I decided to pop in here and see how everything's going :)
I've also being doing a lot on online gaming (esp. Half-Life mods), and am in Clan [=BiO=].
I got GCSEs coming up pretty soon, so I got plenty of revision that I should be doing ;).

Glad to see new talent on the nutters front Wally :)

This place (work) is ****e - I support 20 odd VB programs...
some are great 'coz I wrote them ;)
some are a little rubbish :(
some are outrageously crap :mad:

I get given new projects that should take about 9 months to a year to complete, and a deadline of 3 months away :rolleyes:
and every day, I have to give a "progress report" .... How about - "bollox, no progress 'coz I'm too busy writing reports"
etc.....

So, I'm giving the company about 2.3% effort at the mo'.

According to official sources my thingy works perfectly.
(reminds me of that scottish joke "Is anything worn under your kilt ?" " No, everything is in perfect working order")

But errrm ... right ...

Limewire worked OK last night. Never tried it since because it is installed on our home PC.
Will check later on and report back to you ma'am ! ;)

I'm the same with my cats - they're spoilt :p (two of them are at the vets today having the chop :D ) it took me 30mins to get them into their baskets.... and the house is wrecked (curtain pole down/TV broken on the floor etc..) they're from the RSPCA - wild cats.
