/quiet night watching footie on the telly mood and misses on a girls' night out ...Quote:
High tide - mid afternoon
People fly by in the traffics boom
Knowing - where you're blowing
Getting to where you should be going.
Don't let them get you down
Making you feel guilty about
Golden rain bring you riches
All the good things - you deserve now.
Climbing forever trying
Find your way out - of the wild wild wood
Now theres no justice
There's only yourself - that you can trust in
And I said - high tide mid afternoon
People fly by in the traffics boom
Knowing - just where you're blowing
Getting to where you should be going.
Day by day your world fades away
Waiting to feel - all the dreams that say
Golden rain will bring you riches
All the good things - you deserve now - and I say
Climbing forever trying
Find your way out - of the wild wild wood
Tsk! It didn't help matters. Someone still managed to drink them all :DQuote:

on the journey up to leeds it took 7 hours to go up and got through 3/4 of a tank. came home and it took 4 and a bit hours and got through a full tank. it's 200 miles from leeds to The M25 and did it in a little under 2 hours. No guessing my speed :D
B4 my squaddie brother got married and assumed responsibilities he had an Astra GTE - lowered, stiffened, ported, polished, chipped and eventually bored out . . . . he drove home from Windsor to Blackpool in 2.25 hrs . . . . . I dread to think how much fuel he used . . . . but feck that was one entertaining motor . . . I think he got 144 or so out of it before he ran out of clear road:D

M6 and clear road are not usually found in the same sentence.
