the reasoning behind this is as usual, work. We had a meeting today with the client where a couple of my colleagues also joined me up in London. One of them, Dan, is quite high up in whats left of the 2 bit operation that I call a job and is also a rather good friend. we have been discussing the work situation quite heavily over the last month now and according to him, if the company survives more than two month's, it will be a miracle.
now being the educated (yeah right ;) ) people that we are, we have been thinking about this project that I am working on now. the part that I am doing at the moment is almost finished and once that is done, the client has no obligation's with my company. The client is expanding at quite a rate at the moment and they will be wanting a hell of alot more stuff done to the system. so Dan and I today, had the offical meeting in the morning, and whilst over lunch, explained to the client off the record that Brite will probably not see more than 2 months left. And rather than getting another company in to take over the system which will cause a severe delay whilst the new company get's it grips with it, we have offered ourselves to work for the client full time and carry on as if nothing happened apart from out pay comming from another company. The client is going to make a few quite enquiries and then come back to us.
So all in all it starting to get a bit complicated.
Well, welcome to my world :)Quote:

Just go with the flow and don't worry Ian.
My biggest fear at the moment is ending up unemployed as it is something that I have never been, at to be perfectley honest though of it, scare's me. Oh well as our frog munching friends across the channel say, ce la vie :)
You'll be fine. I have faith in you! :)
