I'll put it this way, though it will do no good: You misunderstood a statement I made, and I'm not surprised. Written text can be confusing, since it is often devoid of the non-verbal communication that makes up so much of speech. However, I don't believe that ThE ImP was similarly confused based on his reply.
Nope, you are still not making any sense whatsoever; what is it that you are trying to say?????

As I have already shown you are inclined to argue one way at any moment in time and then completely the reverse the very next as long as you have something to gain from doing so
I think what you're driving at is that Shaggy has himself poked fun at TheImp in this thread and is now criticising you for doing so. Indeed, I've done the same, as have several other members. The point you seem to have missed, however, is that the criticism isn't really about poking fun, it's about you insinuating that another member should be driven off the site. Those two acts are substantially different.
This does raise the question of exactly where poking fun and leveling criticism (there has been some, I would argue, legitimate criticsim of TheImp and his coding skills in this and other threads) is acceptable or not and when it crosses the line into bullying. That's a particularly fuzzy line in ChitChat where a certain amount of "banter" is to be expected and certainly starting a thread declaring you're rewritten office using VB6 is going to cause a snigger or two.
Ultimately the only judge of when that line is crossed, in this case, is TheImp himself. I personally don't believe that Shaggy has crossed that line with any of his comments and I sincerely hope I haven't. I do think, though, that people started sailing awfully close to that line a few pages back when people started bringing his personal relationships into it and latterly the sheer volume of irrelevances (which were mildly funny when they started out in lesser volumes) being posted starts to feel like a quite unpleasant level of heckling to me. But, as I said, TheImp is the only one who can really make a judgement on that. All I'll say is this, it's incumbant on us all to try and build a freindly and supportive community. Not stultified and humourless but not cruel and exclusive either.
At that point I think I'll bow out of the debate. I know from experience that you're not going to take any notice of any of this so I'm not sure why I'm bothering to type it really. I think it's really for the benefit of everyone except you. I may drop back in to make some banal pun at some point but I hope I'll still be on the comfrotable side of the line.
edit>By the way, the avatar you posted was quite groovy. I liked that and TheImp should definitely adopt it.

You will have to reread the posts I highlighted a little more more carefully; I think it is you that have missed the point(s) on this occasion.

From a technical point of view it has been shown that the thread is a lie, a farce and died long, long ago; iMp is simply in a state of denial amongst other things. Forcing a thread after it dead is extremely poor form and a waste of everyone's time and resources not to forget that his puns are absolutely terrible!

There is nothing stopping iMp from letting his dead thread go, but why would a troll do that?????

Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
You actually cited one comment I made that I had to think about. In spoken form, it wouldn't have upset anybody, but I pondered whether or not it would upset The Imp, and felt that it would not, nor did it appear to. Frankly, when a person delivers a straight line such as I was responding to with that post, I appreciate when somebody takes a shot at it. I wasn't sure whether The Imp would, or not. I know others on this forum who certainly would appreciate it, I just wasn't sure that he was one of them. You may be the only person who took it literally, but that's the problem with a forum: Not everybody is on the same page.
Still, it's a far cry from taking a swing at a straight line to suggesting that a person is a virus and/or doesn't belong. I'm sorry you misunderstood, I'm glad that ThE iMp did not, but it still wasn't exclusionary. However, I will also admit that my goal, more recently, has been to shift your focus, which has been fairly successful.
I'll also say that I'm going to have to cut back a bit, as your last post may have exceeded the US RDA of irony. Studies have shown that insufficient irony in your diet leads to an unhealthy level of credulity and dullness in responses, but an excess of irony leads to a condition known as cynicism, which is nearly similar in symptoms, so I'm going to have to watch out.

Most of that last post was entirely incomprehensible; probably due to the thunderbolts and lightning which clearly can strike the same place more than once!

I think they are trying to say that there is a line, and you have crossed said line.

I don't believe there is much Shaggy can do about crossing said line tho.

Yes you're the icon maker but then you also are hurting me, I have gone for a lot of trouble to find this Time Bomb on my Computer System and then it turned up nothing. A Time Bomb you say, after four hundred dallors to have the system reimaged, then to also be reinstalled and so on...

You spent 400$ to reinstall everything on your system? Or you bought new harddisk and other parts and replaced the old one, thinking that there is a virus in your pc?
You are just joking right?

which was a crappy translation of a Japanese game.
