Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
Incidentally, ieframe.dll (webbrowser control) is 9.25MB!
-
Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
Lol, not when you compress it, it isn't...
-
Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
My ieframe.dll is about 10,851kb in size, so then my own alot bigger and then I have also used it and then compressed it using a special techquine that is of mine...

Also, you had said:

The problem which you describe, in that post of yours, which was aforementioned, is it likely fixed, by now, by any chance?

This is QuickBrowser's Source Code Files, they make a 88kb OCX Built file...
-
Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
Nope, not even close, for example, as I previously indicated, it is entirely dependent on the ieframe.dll (webbrowser control) which is 9.25MB once decompressed and deployed on a target machine, making your browser in dire need of some serious Jenny Craig attention to get it anywhere near 88kb, something like rewriting it in MASM: http://masm32.com/board/index.php. Moreover, as you have previously admitted, it is far too slow to be called "QuickBrowser" and as a result you will have to change its name to something more appropriate such as "DeadSlowBrowser".
-
Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
Well I'm working on the OCX these days, but then there are other things that get in the way of it, all eg: Family and Friends. Also that I am working on other computer projects, like a Website that I'm the only one that runs it and also I'm the WebMaster of my Website. Also that my other members of the team are on other projects, themselves like University, other Part-Time Work and also computer projects like their Websites, etc. Also that I have been able to work at the speed of the loading and then the caching of the Websites. So then please have a good look at the project, if you wish to. You can then send comment posts to this Thread, if you wish...

Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
So it's not some custom magic compression method you invented, as you previously suggested, that compresses it, you just aren't packaging any dependencies, are you?

If ThEiMp has AIDS, I wouldn't download any of his files. They might be infected.

So what if he was really just trolling us, the whole time, in a deed, no matter, no facts.
EDIT: Naahhhh, he did mention in the last thread that he was dyslexic, though in a , deed, fact of, matter. Maybe he cured the dyslexia?

Did you read the posts on his Facebook wall? He's not trolling anyone...

Yep, no other way to interpret his overtly false claims such as "smallest ever Web Browser".

I think you will find that it was more tongue in cheek (do that a few times quickly) rather than serious, wasn't the spelling something like dikieisia? I'd say trolling is the only logical conclusion.

There is more to read in his blog: http://theimp.zxq.net/blog/blog.htm
It even mentions the mating of Mars and Jupiter giving birth to Uranus! Since I didn't reached the age to view/read adult content, I just closed it! :D

TheImp's blog actually births in July 2011 as a great outpouring of science fiction nonsense and includes one of the most infamous sayings from the Australian bushranger Ned Kelly: "such is life". Ned claimed that he had stolen over 280 horses as a boy and eventually killed several policemen before being arrested, charged "with the murder of Sergeant Kennedy, Constable Scanlan and Lonigan, the various bank robberies, the murder of Sherritt, and resistance to the police at Glenrowan", tried, and then sentenced to death by hanging for the willful murder of Constable Lonigan. He was reported by The Argus (daily newspaper) to have uttered "such is life" in the lead up to his execution.
Excerpt from TheImp's July entries:
Quote:
"Well on this mother earth, the few words that seems to fit here, is: Such is Life. This little saying goes, back to somewhere before my forefathers, even got to the stage of life on earth. But then who cares, it is just an old saying."

Is there a version of the blog that's in English instead of this unknown ancient language?

Tell me about it! My old film cam works on a set of batteries for quite more than a year, while only the SB400 of my digital camera runs through a pair of cells in just a few shots. Dang, I wish instead of wasting their time in getting office applications tinier, these brilliant people had spent some time storing more energy into the cells.

Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
Any significant advance in the capacity of batteries would have a big impact on the world. If you were to double the energy density it could be the most significant technological breakthrough of the decade. We still use gas engines because the energy density in batteries is so bad in comparison.

I don't want to steer the conversation away from actually meaningful discussion, but has anyone glanced over OP's source code?

Nah mate, only a fool would fall for that one you imp-poster!
You are definitely Ned Kelly, especially, as I previously indicated, you quoted the most infamous saying from the most infamous bushranger in Australia "such is life" when you birthed your blog in July 2011:

Since everything you say is completely ludicrous (and silly, I might add), including what you just wrote, I must conclude that you truly do not exist.
