I was right.
Maybe he's looking for a childless woman to take him in?
Air is hard to live without. Bad air is bad.
Our neighbors cat smelled up the entire stairwell since someone allowed him into the building in the middle of the night. It's been smelling like $hit for days!
I can't smell cat piss. It's pretty weird, really. For whatever reason, that smell just doesn't register with me. Poop I can smell, though, so if you are speaking literally, then I would be able to smell it.
Tomorrow it's suppose to go back up to 100 degrees. Don't remember 100 in October before. Got an endless summer going on here.
Uhhh. Here it's cold, windy and raining with a downpour of leaves! AAhhhhhhhhhh.
Yeah, our high today is 89 and the low is 72. It definitely feels like fall here.
There was frost on the grass as I was walking back from the gym this morning. The highs are still going to be fairly warm, with the 80s this weekend, but the nights are getting cold. Nice weather, really.
Shaggy, you got some real interesting politics in Idaho. Telling a native American to go back to where they come from. I wonder where he imagines that is. lol
Hard to say, he was from Illinois.
Did I forget to include the link to the article? Or was it removed for some reason?
He seems to fit right in with Idaho politics from the stories you've told. lol
There's always the old joke: Where you from? My momma originally.
The article was about a debate between candidates for a state seat. The debate was held in the Clearwater River valley. Somebody asked the conservative candidate about discrimination and he said there wasn't any in Idaho. His opponent related that she had encountered discrimination a few times, and mentioned the Aryan nations compound in northern Idaho. At that point, the conservative candidate lost his mind. Among other things, he yelled at his opponent that she should, "go back to where you came from", and stormed off the stage. She was, of course, a member of the Nez Perce tribe, which was centered around the Clearwater, so she WAS home.
That's Idaho.
Oh yeah, he's almost certain to win, too.
Cinderella's carriage has been found!!! https://apnews.com/video/california-...261a69184632da
That's some impressive pumpkins.
That would make one BIG pie.
Flying back from Colorado Springs. It was gorgeous seeing all the fall leaves. We don’t get that in Louisiana.
We can mail them to you. I'll have a few hundred pounds in a few weeks.
I wonder what the Genius world record for the most posts in a single thread is????
We could be making history here, I promise not to let the fame go to my head. I will remain the brilliant, charismatic, handsome and humble person I've always been.
Maybe they'll erect a statue honoring us. https://currently.att.yahoo.com/att/...214035504.html
That's the purpose of the post race.
Not sure if anybody is keeping track, but there sure are a lot of posts in this thread.
And now there are a few more.
Caught a cold last week......
.... nose running something awful.....
Me in my office blowing my nose.....
My Boss (his office being 2 doors down): "Oy! Be silent. I'm on the phone. You sound like a V8 Hemi Big Block on Kickdown....."
....oO(Nice to know, he cares....)
That is one, long, well-thought out, insult. I'm impressed. Most people would have stopped with, "you sound like a truck."
Well, I think credit should be given where credit is due. If somebody took the time to come up with an artisanal, crafted, insult of such size and specificity, I would thank them for it.
Yeet seems like a relatively recent word. In fact, it looks like the Chrome spellchecker doesn't even recognize it.
Google is in trouble now. They owe Russia $2,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. https://currently.att.yahoo.com/news...130459445.html
Hope they're able to workout payments.
It's rising fast, from the sound of it. If the penalty is doubling as stated, this number will grow quickly.
I doubt Google appreciates the appreciation of the penalty.
Got to wonder what made them pick such an amount.
It sounds like they set some amount per...day/month/year, or whatever it was, and decided it would double periodically. That exponential growth adds up pretty quick.
Geeks are as Geeks do.
Somebody did the math and just...reported the number.
Whether somebody else just didn't understand, or decided, "might as well just say what it is", I can't say. It could be either one. The numbers a joke, the only question is who is in on the joke and who isn't.
Russia isn't expecting Google to pay anything, and if there is ever a settlement, it will be through negotiation. Therefore, the number itself is meaningless, but there may be somebody over there who doesn't know that.
Hi! I'm back! Had to reset my password 'cause I couldn't remember it.
Multiple major events have occurred in my life. Film at eleven.
Do we really want to see that film?
We're past Halloween, ya know.
And we don't want any Christmas Specials, just yet.
It's an anti-piracy measure.
And I bought a 1976 Plymouth Duster as a restoration project. I used to have one just like it (same Yellow Blaze, bucket seats, slant 6, etc.) The car was rescued from a farm in eastern Colorado where the climate sees very little moisture so it's solid with very little rust and no body filler. I'd post a photo, but the forum says it "exceeds my quota by 64kb" whatever that means.
Sorry to hear about your father. Strokes can be...like a roll of some bad dice. You tend to lose something, but it's almost chance as to what, and how it impacts you.
I keep getting inquiries about my house in Detroit. One of them finally included the address, so I was able to see the house I supposedly own. It seems like it has potential, though I don't know how the neighborhood is. There has to be some issue, since I've been getting inquiries for years.
Of course, I don't HAVE a house in Detroit.
Each member has a certain amount of memory for uploads. It's not a very generous cap, and pictures consume it pretty quickly. You can delete older uploads, of course, but that will make whatever thread they were in...a bit odd.
Got a root canal, yesterday. They made a big deal about pain after the anesthetic wore off, so I was ready for it. Still hasn't happened, yet. Guess I got lucky. The dentist was a hoot, too, as he treated the whole thing as casually as could be. He was chatting with his assistant about plans for the weekend, beards (I have one, and it was getting in the way at times), the music that was playing, and whatever else. He couldn't have made it more clear that this was just routine.
This Lichess game was fun. I've been on a losing streak, but won this when I wasn't logged in.

Good that you got that off your chess'.
The post race was sinking down the page a bit. This brought it up.
