Hello katie & co. How's everyone today then?
monkey baloop :)
Chris---Hi-dee-Ho is from an American Television show you may have heard of....a little thing called the Simpons...it's presented in color ..Homer's neighbor , Ned Flanders says it! I wouldn't expect someone who has to take a lift to a flat in order to sit his arse on a sofa to know this though!;)
btw....you were speaking (in the ass/arse thread) of American's problem with one word meaning two things.....what do you call a tire when it has no air in it????? What do you call an apartment????
Parksie....my project is going fine...it's actually just an enhancement to an existing program so it's no big deal....but it should at least keep me out of trouble for a while!:D
btw....I'm finally getting out of the stone age and getting the Internet on my home computer.....how exciting is that!?!?! 6pm tonight I should be up and running!!
Way cool! So you'll be able to come on VB-World and see us crazy Brits still here at 4 in the morning ;)
Modem or cable?
oh, I was thinkg of Hi-dee-hi hi-dee-ho (from a cheesy sitcom), but now you mention it, yes flanders does say hi-dee-ho neighbour. I don't live in a flat and I never said the problem was the word meaning two things, because pleanty of words have multiple meaning...the thing is i is spelt arse!!Quote:
