eh?
Good morning!
Morning katie, nice weekend ?
Not too bad! Had fun with the family stuffing our faces...guzzling beer and yelling at the television(Super Bowl). Saturday we went up to the mountains and froze ourselves in the snow...
How was your weekend??
I had the nice quite one that I wanted. spent most of saturday chilling round a mate's flat watching video's and playing with his kid. Sunday daytime did absolutley sweet fa and in the evening took my old man up the road for a some pool, beer and a chat.
Sounds lovely! We are currently in day 14 of the electrical crisis...still very cold in here ...no relief in sight. Trying to keep our chins up....
just think of that lovely sun you calfornian's get in the summer, that'll warm your cockle's
chenko - Certainly is! WR14's my area, if you need a better position.
Good morning Parksie....good weekend?
Not too bad, how about you?
Although I've now joined the esteemed ranks of the ill... :(
I'm running a temperature of over 39C
Not good :(
Sorry to hear that Mike. I hope you're able to stay home and get over it...
How's everybody today???
did you win any money betting on the superbowl...?
damn I wish I would have bet on the ravens...
didn't win any.......but didn't lose any either!
I didn't lose any either, but it would've been pretty cool to win some :)
football is soooo boring though..
the clock is stopped every 5 seconds.. I would rather have constant action...
Try watching soccer. Much faster paced...you can actually follow the plays....they are shorter too!
So what were the final odds?
I quite agree :)Quote:

I don't like sports much at all(especially baseball, football, and soccer, used to play those when I was between the ages 5 and 10, I got hurt too much), my favorite sports are Tennis and Badminton....
but I would never watch a match..... I hate watching sports... infact I don't much like TV at all......
I like Squash and football (real football == soccer).
I will play soccer if I have to(in gym), but if it's optional, I won't play it, because I don't like to much. I usually have fun playing soccer, but my favorites are dodgeball(I LOVE hitting people I don't like with a ball, and not getting in trouble for it :D) Tennis, Badminton, and floor hockey...
I punched the headmaster at my old school and didn't get in much trouble for it, so it only goes to show you never can tell :)
evening all, back for another onslaught.
Katie - I was impressed by your understanding of english slang. for those of you who didn't understand from the previous page.
old man - dad
up the road - local pub
warm you cockles - make you feel better (well that's one meaning anyway)
I was walking up the apple and pairs and sundenly the dog and bone went off ;)
why did you punch him?Quote:

Your phone went off on the stairs?
Hmm... ;)
Dennis - because he hit me first
why did he hit you??
that could've been the reason you didn't get into much trouble.
and was it like punches on the arm or in the face?
Ian...
Old man means Dad over here too.....my Grandparents who came over from Ireland when they were in their twenties used the expression "warms the cockles of your heart" very often... You'd be surprised how many expressions we actually do have in common. Must have something to do with the melting pot or something!
Well...because I was a naughty little bugger
Just a clip round the forehead...nothing serious.
But I kind of retaliated a bit too much...
hehehehe,
if anybody hit a teacher or the principle in my school, they would be expelled..
well i rather stay in this postion its more comfy but if u gain more pleasure... well be it;) sorry i shudnt be so sick :PQuote:

I was sitting in my farther ted with my captain hook when all of a suden the dog and bone went off. so I went down the apple and pairs and a garden gate asked if i wanted a couple of britney spears with some of my china plates. so I got in my Jam Jar and went off down the frog and toad to get to the nuclear-sub.
there must have been a grands worth of billies in there, all schindler's list, but after a mo i found my garden gate's. So we all had lots of gold watch and got thourghly Elephant trunk. So I thought to myself that I need to bobby more and went up to a ocean Pearl who had a right pair of gorgie bests, slipped her a nifty only to find that her old pot and pan was there. he completly kate mossed it and landed a isle of white on my suppose so. there was claret every where and the old bill came in and i and him spent the night in the flowery dell
:D
