Falcon Patrol ?

Canya get old games like that ??
FBP
Just go to yahoo and do a search for 'basic games'
You'll get tons. I had this one a couple years back...it was great. You played an angry student and threw grenades at the principal...heheheh.
If anyone finds 'Dogfight' (was on the BBC), let me know...
DontSpoze....
Any idea if any of them old games have been converted for use with PC's ??
FBP
Unfortunately, that's not it. Thanks anyway though.
You realize that every BASIC programmer under the age of forty probably has a game called "dogfight." :D

I can live in hope can't I?

Sorry don't have it on me; I'm away from home on a business trip...
Besides, its about 250 MB -- not a fun download no matter what bandwidth you have...
Bah! I downloaded a trial of SQL Server 2K and it only took me... 2 hours for 300 mb.
Oracle 8i (personal edition or something... got it from their site) for NT was about 400 Mb and took about 4 hours for me.
Yah but that's on what kind of connection?
I remember the [not so] good old days with 36kbps dialin...it took an hour and a half to download 2 MB !!!!!!
DSL. My connection with MS download servers runs at about 250Kbps. *tries to resist Tim Allen impression*
ADSL or ISDL?
250 MEGS FOR TIM!?!??!?!?!??!Quote:

its not just TIM--its TIM2!
ah... and what does it do so special that makes it 500 times larger than tim 1?
Cmon, you have to have noticed! Its a special formula first used by microsoft:
Size of new version = Size of old version * (Number of New features + 1000)
This way it seems like the new version is more special and powerful!
