Why that username? What significance does it have?
It's very complicated......
The user name was assigned by the IT folks. I'll give you one clue and one clue only!
My name is Kathryn Barr. That's the only clue I'll give you!
Damn those fools, making you sound like a dog!
You'd be surprised how many interesting usernames that naming convention has created. My friend Lisa's username is grovel.
is it just the first 4 chars of the last name?
Mine used to be kilhch at college, that was pretty crappy, so i changed it to chrisjk, hence my beatuiful username now.
I've also been known as U9989 - that was at some insurance company i worked for.

I give up. :D :D
I always read your username Chris j/k as in Chris just kidding!
no, it's Christopher John Kilhams. The only reason I had that was because I dislike my surname, otherwise I would have had cjkilhams or similar, but i don't like it, so I didn't! Fascinating this isn't it?!? :D
Perhaps I should have just been U9989...
I think Chrisjk is just dandy!!! Much better than U9989!
Filburt1.....still confused????:p ;) :D
hmm, it does make me sound like a german U-boat...
I always had you figured as a submarine racer anyway, Chris;)
When I created my first e-mail account, I was still addicted to RML, and Filburt was the coolest character. But the name Filburt was rejected, so I slapped a "1" on it. I also occasionally create accounts using "Filburt2" if Filburt1 is taken :), or for games I usually just type "Arien".Quote:

I'm lucky because my last name only has four characters in it. Some people with long names get their last names cut off and then their first initial tacked on. Mine is short and sweet. Very easy.
There's nothing like a good night at the submarine races!;)Quote:

My last name is short too....It's Mack...but since my first name is steve....it's written S.mack a lot....so I get people calling me smack....kind of annoying after a while
My husband used to joke that if we had a girl her name should be Candice but we'd call her Candy as a nickname.......her name would then be Candy Barr....thank goodness he was just kidding...my daughter would never have forgiven us!
I bet he was actually really disappointed when you called her something else
I went to grade school with a girl named Ginger.
Yup. Mr. and Mrs. Snap sure knew what they were doing!
I don't think Tom was too disappointed!
Did Ginger like her name, DerFarm?
I know some people that had a last name of time....they were having a son, and they were considering justin
and we knew some people with a son Chip Munk (poor kid)
That is just cruel!

there was a footballer who used to play for arsenal and now QPR by the name of "Paul ****ov" :) (*Dammit they won't allow that word Dic@ov). I feel so sorry for the bloke for having parents like that :)
Quite a common one for me is "Master Baker", and when I mean common, I mean every body who meets me, says it and think that I have never heard of it ;)
Went to school with a Scott Bates and damn it if one partic teacher didnt always refer to him mockingly as Master. That teacher turned out to be a paedophile anyway so

My previous post lost a bit in the translation where the baby's name ended up as ****. Is this some kind of auto-censorship?
