use a browser
If you want to see the animation, open it in IE or Netscape. They don't animate in Photoshop or Paint.
heheheh, too slow:p
K.. thats what i was thinking..
but when I go to IE, open... go to the folder...
it opens in Microsoft Photo Editir..
What gives?
Select it, then Shift-Right click it, select Open With, and select Internet Explorer.
:p, beat you this time, kedaman!
Windows 2000 does not support that feature... or it would seem
run regedit and goto HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/.gif/
(Default) value points to it, you can change it to point to IExplorer
What is REG_multi_sz ?
A fancy word for a string. :)
a string that can contain multiple values
it suggest opening something..
"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PhotoEd\PHOTOED.EXE" "%1"
How do I change this in IE what is "%1" ??????
the path to iexplorer of course, and %1 is the command parameter
Uh, are you people suggesting that he edit the registry just to create a file association?
yeah what did you think? 2k/XP sucks at file association, besides messing in the registry is fun
Um.?? Guys? How am I suppost get the back up copy of the registry?
Ignore them and do this: select the file in question, hold down the shift key and right-click it, select Open With, select IE and check the checkbox, and hit OK.
Guy.. you already sugested that.
Question though.. why is that function available in Win2K..
I just went to the control panel and found the association with file att. and the registry.. Kinda cool, because i learned something.
Thanks guys

check all and choose filename, save, sometimes you just want to save a selected branch if you don't want to waste diskspace
