Rock radio in the UK
Kerrang 87.7 FM has 1 week left to run. At the moment, I think its Manchester only, but if everyone who cares petitions at http://www.petitiononline.com/kerrang it will be nationwide very soon.
We really need signatures on that petition. Please pass this link on, otherwise we'll deserve the townie crap that we get.

Thank you for re-iterating a point that, I've been making for some time now. Perhaps people will actually listen to you Behemoth.
-
I aint listened to it much, but why only 1 week left? and why only in manc? :(
-
I don't get it...why if they are closing in 1 week are they also contemplating going nationwide?
-
I think that if this goes nation wide... all the tredies will start listening to it and think they are cool just because they do.... I hate that

currently, Kerrang have an advertising broadcat license (or something like that) - they're not a radio station as such, just an advertising medium. I believe the license had a 1 month duration, so now they're campaigning to go commercial. This will involve a nationwide rollout too.
I don't know why Manchester - I imagine its related to the high number of rock fans in the area.
Look, stop asking questions and fill the petition in ;)

trust me, everyone in my street has signed it ;)
-
but there's only 17 signatures!

maybe it's a small street...
