How many of you have actually clicked the DO NOT CLICK HERE! link in my signature?:D:D:D
On this moment I haven't.
After sending this I will do it.:p
Ray
although it wasn't very smart of me to click on it, i'd like to point out that tomcatexodus is a moron. the link crashes windows.
I was very lucky, didn't do it yet;)
Ray
Ow... :(
Gimme a break, 'moron' is a little strong...
(Besides, it does in fact clearly state that you should 'not click there' :D:D:D)
well, posting links that crash windows isn't exactly clever, so i'd say it's moronic. ;) but then, clicking on links that seem suspicous is also moronic :p
Isn't moron Welsh for carrot?Quote:

Btw@Nullus...
Don't you ever read the hyperlink description at the bottom of IE/Netscape on the statusbar? It tells you what youre accessing... and when it makes reference to file:///c:/... I'm generally careful not to touch it, unless I know what it is... :D:D:D
(Hey... you could theoretically FDisk somones computer through a hyperlink!!!! LMAO:D:D:D)
yeah, i did read it, which is why i thought it was suspicous. but i wasn't sure what it did, so me being human, i clicked it :p
Are you giving hints:p :p :p
Ray
Hmm... yeah, if you see that link change to:
FILE:///C|/FDISK%A0%C:
Just disregard it, and go ahead and click...
:D:rolleyes::p
I clicked the link and it just opened a new browser... nothing else.
I don't think that con trick works on NT4
Better yet... DELTREE...:eek::D:eek:
Nah... It wouldn't Mark, it's only a bug in the Windows 95'/98' kernel component. Thats why if you use NT4, or Linux for that matter, it wont work... It also works if you do AUX/AUX, and I don't know how that affects an NT4 system... :) Hehe...
(I have some big future plans for that little link...:D)
Ok, will someone runnin' Linux please click on the link? Make sure all your stuff is saved though, because this may or may not crash your computer
I have signatures turn off, so :p. :D
You're very late on the uptake with that one - it's been done before and most people are patched.
im runnin 98 and it just opends a new browser windowQuote:

Doesn't crash for me...
-C
hmm...does that link works on Windows Me?? I'm afrind to try it if it does or doesn't (have alot of stuff on here that I don't want to lose)
It probably doesn't. However, everyone should always get the security updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com before doing anything after you install it.
