Propoganda or not...Goerge W is pretty stupid. I mean the electoral process saved him. the fact remains that most Americans dont want him to be president. Lol. I know people who have put together pages full of stupid George W quotes. If fact, ive seen a photo of him offering to shake hands with these demonstrators that have "Bush = Devil" signs in there hands. I mean...stupid is somewhat of an understatement.

I've never had a religous argument with a muslim. From my experience, they are not as keen on argument as christians are so I won't hold my breath. Knowing as little about Islam as I do they would probably remind me of it and say that I had no basis to argue (and they would probably be right). Won't stop me though.Quote:

My personal opinion is that he's not too bothered what he's arguing about, but then we're not exactly best of friends. I don't hold any grudges against him or anything, it's just that we see things from very different perspectives and I don't find debating with him at all productive or useful.
Debate is supposed to "productive and useful"? That's news to me. I just like arguing. I wouldn't say it's productive (or useful) other than the fact that it makes me feel better. That's not to say that I don't believe in what I'm saying, because I do. I just don't expect to push back the bounderies of progressive thought and ideas. :)Quote:

I do it to see where other people are coming from on an idea, and see if I can learn something from their train of thought. That can be about my own train of thought, other people's train of thought or the individual I'm debating with. This all stems from the idea that information is always good, and understanding how people arrive at a conclusion helps me to spot misinformation and disinformation. I try to be as rational as possible about things. I don't always succeed of course ;)

Why is America stoping Iraq from making neuclear weapons if America, itself, has the largest collection of neuclear weapons in the world?
How is bombing on Iraq?? That is America and British! Then why not Iraq make some weapons to at least defend herself.

I think Israel often "over reacts" or reacts to strongly to events that happen but it is itself a victim of many terrorist attacks. I don't think they want to occupy the whole of the middle east (or anywhere near it). The (extremist) muslims have voiced (many times) their intent to wipe Isreal off the face of the continent and it was the Islamic countries that teamed up and invaded Isreal for the 6-day war (1967). Yes, after that war they occupied territories from Egypt, Syria and Jordan and I think it is long over due that they should return these territories.Quote:

There are extremists on both sides who commit acts of terrorism against ordinary people and this is wrong. Don't try to pretend that the Palestinians are an innocent party in all this though.

NATO was bombing on Kosovo not Serb. Thousands of Muslims were killled and saperated during that bombing. Serbs are still living in there but Lots of muslims are fled to nearby countries!

Yes there are Serbians still living in Kosovo but the intention was not to segregate them but to try to enable them to live together. If anyone's being persecuted at the moment in Kosovo it's the Serbs and not the Kosovans.

Who was the first President of the United States? If he committed any terrorist acts, please name them. HINT: He was president from 1789-1797 and can be found on the U.S. $1 bill, and the U.S. quarter.

Now, if you look at Maecdonia, Albanian muslim figheters are fighting for their rights. NATO is trying to make peace in there politically but you will see that atlast NATO will send its troops in Macedonia to fight with Albanian muslim fighter!

No don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the crisis was perfectly handled (by any stretch of the imagination) but that is not the issue here. They were trying to help out a people who were being persecuted because of their race/religion and all they get is it thrown back in their face.

You are trying to make out (as do other muslim fundamentalists) that everyone is attacking and getting at muslims world wide. You think that you are a persecuted for your race and religion. If you want to see real persecution then look no further than the Talaban in Afganastan or the way women are subjegated in countries like Iran.
No race in history has been persecuted on the same level as the Jews have and even now they are not being able to live in peace as palastinian children are brainwashed to want to die (in the name of Islam) in the process of blowing up some more Isreali people.
As I have said previously, neither side is innocent in all this but all you are doing here is interpreting everything as an attack on Islam (and it's people) even when others try to help them.

Yes...I have seen the USS Cole! But even if I hadn't, I never saw an actual victim of Auswitch but I saw the pictures and I have no reason to believe that they aren't real!!!!!!!!!

Also, who are you to say what is fair and what isn't fair? I don't know the details of this sinc e I'm not getting this from a reliable source (sorry, but you are a very biased reporter of the facts, so I can't rely on your account being true). Perhaps you could provide a link to this story from a reputable source? I don't think there is a fair in this situation anyway; the soldiers were there because their country volunteered them for the job, I don't think it's entirely unreasonable for them to get them back if they can. Not that I'm saying they should or shouldn't have done it, I just don't think it's a simple, black and white matter.
In your opinion they are fighting for their rights. In the Macedonian government's opinion they are terrorists and a threat to the good order of the Macedonian society. Personally I don't know enough about the conflict to say either way.Quote:

I have to agree with Filburt to some extent that we need to take what we hear on the news with a pinch of salt, but I think in general the major channels present the facts, you just have to read between the lines a bit, stripping out the emotive words.
