I'm sure you API guys can help..

Hi,

I just posted a question to the VB forum and basically got a "it can't be done..." answer. Well, not one to take no for an answer, I thought I'd turn to you API guys for help.

I have some custom color cursors in .cur and .ani format and I would like to load them in my VB app. I'm almost positive this can be accomplished but maybe only through the API.

The problem I'm running into is that the cursors turn black when ran from within VB. Any help and/or examples would be greatly appreciated..

I remember this from earlier...I also recall saying if you attach one of the cursor files i'd glady try it out on my machine...

hmm, they do come out monochrome. The colour depth looks quite high, what bit is it?

Also, how did you make it?

Regarding the ani cursors, this is from MSDN...

Not sure if this will help you at all. But I recently stumbled across the topic of color cursors in a Knowledge Base article. Search for Article 267849 - PRB: Using Color Cursors in a Visual Basic Application.
