You started a new thread for this.......
One word: Why? :D
As opposed to using what thread?
I apologize then....:o
It's just that, your Subject makes it sound
as though you had another thread going. ;)
What else is new with vB2.0.2? :) *Asks sincerely as though he cares.
Go to www.vbulletin.com and see John's announcement.
Not sure if I understand....Is John the developer of vBulletin?Quote:
I guess. That's why he's cool. :D
Yep, our very own John Percival developed vBulletin..... :o
Ya know that makes sense now.....
I always wondered why vbforums had so many specialized mods compared to other vBulletin Forums.
I just figured he was really good at hacking...:p
I remember talking to Wynd, he asked if John made vBulletin, i was like "***** no! how many people in the world are named john?" turns out he made vBulletin hehe
Does anyone get the feeling he made some of these features just for us? After all, what other forum site has threads with over 65,535 views and has people posting hundreds, in some cases thousands of replies to a thread?
He probably wouldn't have the "Do posts count in this forum?" feature if it had not been for the race to 1024 by Sam Finch, Megatron, etc....
This forum does have SOOOOO many features compared to UBB (John would curse at this post if he saw those three letters :D).
In short, this board kicks *** compared to any other board (that I've been to) on the planet! :)
I think John definitely did something right for this to happen :D Every time it's mentioned that John wrote vB (albeit with support from many other PHP developers, but mostly John) it turns into a massive ego-trip for him :D
Furry muff really :)

Hmm, is this a new feature or have I just never noticed it before at the bottom of the forum listings:

You just didn't notice, it's been around for a while.
