Format Email using Code

I would like to format an email message. The VB code opens a new message using the standard MAPI controls and enters the message text etc. Now i want to change the body text font etc.

I've pulled out the little hair i've got left trying to figure this out.

Being new to VB if anyone can give me some help in a "made for an idiot format". That would be appreciated.
