How are you opening the databases ? through the VB program ? or by double clicking on the files ?
If your double-clicking on the file it will attempt to open it with the last program installed (Acccess 2 or 97). To change it you have to change the program this is registered to mdb type files.
I got a few computer with a visual basic program installed on. All of the computers have access 2.0 and 97 on them. On a few computers all the access files either in the format of 2.0 or 97 open with access 2.0. Please tell me why? the progam which is running works with access 97 only.
