Amazon Product Advertising API to get product information (NOT Search, but 1 item)

Hello.

I am an Amazon Affiliate, have been since 2000.
What I would like to do today is grab product information from a page when I need it.
And have this information inserted into a database. (The database part I can pretty much handle on my own)

I've looked around but was unable to find any good code example on how to retrieve the information with a Product URL.
I only seem to find Search Results, which is not what I am after.

Any assistance on this would be great.
