Can someone clarify the difference between a Business Analyst (BA) and a Data Analyst (DA)? While both roles seem to focus on data, the job functions seem a bit different. I would love to hear what you think are the key distinctions.

The question has nothing to do with VB.NET development and barely anything to do with development at all. Moved from VB.NET to General Developer.
A Business Analyst focuses on understanding business needs and using data to provide strategic recommendations to address those needs. A Data Analyst primarily focuses on collecting and analysing data to extract insights and identify patterns. Essentially, a Business Analyst uses data to solve business problems, while a Data Analyst is more focused on the technical aspects of data collection and analysis.
my POV
BA = "Judges" Data according to Business-Rules. A BA would say "That's good Business"
DA = "Judges" Data on e.g. Consistency. A DA would never say "That's good Business"
