bluetooth programming

I haven't programmed for it, but I suggest that you just use Winsock, so you can use WiFi too, and not be dependent on Bluetooth only, unless the device is Bluetooth only. First step is to search the forums by Title and make sure you search in the Codebank first. Here is the API Docs:

If you need to find a specific device or signal strength, etc, then use the API.

I am not interested in Wi-Fi connectivity.
What I am interested in is to create app similar to Phone Link in Windows: making phone calls from PC using a smartphone.

It wouldn't be starting with VB 6.0.

I would be starting with Google. It might it guide you here :p
