Hi there .
I hav this peculiar problem . The Toolbar contol i have windows common controls SP4 installed . But the toolbar style property shows me just tbrFlat and tbrStandard options . I want to make the toolbar transparent so that the background image is seen . In the help file it shows tbrTransparent property but not in the property pages of the toolbar control . Please
help a.s.ap

I downloaded some code but most of them dealt with transparency of the forms . I couldnt get any working code
which shows how to make the toolbar transparent .
The thing is I dont want the windows grey color and i am changing the bg color of the form so the toolbar looks like ****
with all the images on it .
any way thanx a lot

But is there any method by which u can make it transparent like using API's or something .
I just want some controls to be transparent and also i want to remove the disabled colors which by default are grey . but only for my appln not for the desktop or other applns(i.e DTP Controls disabled grey color, Listview Controls disabled grey color etc...)

Toolbar - you're talking about the thingy that is attached to the bottom of the form, kinda like the one at the bottom of IE? Just make your own control using Labels.
Or consider upgrading to a better OS (ie: Win2K).
I've never seen anything to make that transparent. I've never even seen an app where it's transparent. (but maybe i live under a rock, so what do i know)
