VB front end to mdb

I am just in the process of creating my first front end to an mdb access database, so that I can distribute the data without all parties having MS Access.

I understand this does not breach any linceses?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good 'intro' source or guide. My data is a single table, which I want to seach (from a text box) for any matching records.
