Acess...making a .mde file

hi

i have created a access gui infront of a database. i now want to make it into a .mde file so know one can access the table!

i have tried going into the menu and select create .mde file but i get an error :(

am i doing sommthing wrong:eek:

telling us what the error is would be helpful...

the error is

"Microsoft Access was unable to create an MDE database"

and that it! completely useless i know!!

the thing is i have tried to put it on someone elses PC and create this .mde file but still no luck!!

is there certain setting i must configure first~??

I realy don't have the faintest indea of what this error means, but I've found some reference.

the thing is that im using acess 2000!

uhmm.... this is puzeling!

In that case try this one. It's a list of known issues by microsoft, regarding that error. By bet is on the 4th and 9th and... good luck!!
