Printing from Dot Matrix Printer

I am working on payroll project for a medium size company. The coding part is complete. I am using VB and SQL. The problem i am facing now is with reporting. I am using Crystal Report for reporting part. It is good with laser or deskjet printer. But if i want to take the same with dot matrix printer it takes very long time and becomes very slow.

Currenty the project is in foxpro, in which the printing is very fast ondot matrix.


Pls tell me
1. how can i speedup the process of printing.

2. Should i convert the data into a text file and then print it from a dot marix printer.



Pls help me. any other solution......
