So How are these Doubles occuring?
For example, the Megatron Multiple threads, and now these two identical threads:
Number1
Number2
And, is there an easy way to list other such dups?

People do that to...
1. Put their postcounts up
2. To *try* to get *more* help
I don't think it's an error, one of them gets closed I believe.
robdon's a new member with a post count of 2 so it was probably accidental...
well the megatron threads are weird cuz all the replies were the same (until they went their separate ways  )
uh? what are those then?Quote:

.......nope, not a duplicate :p
Gaffer,
If that was an attempt to display how to create a post or thread
identical to a previous one, you've got the text, but try duplicating
the post date and time.
Which does bring up the question:
If you do make a mistake, and post a new thread twice by accident, are the
date/time stamps Identical?, like they are in Number1 & Number2? Of course, if you use two or more
machines, and post Identical threads/messages at the same time, then it would naturally occur.
So, what does everyone think?, in terms of the two sets
of threads that have been pointed out, Are they:
1) unintentional user mistakes
2) VB-World glitches?
or
3) Intentionally done?

I already saw some things like that and asked in the Feedback Forum, but no one answered.
I usually get such things while searching (Ex: Wierd Search Results).
Mark,
as to the megatron threads, they are:
The Real One
and
The Baby Thread

Naw, I was only having a larf... ;)
well if you look at the bottom of the screen in the admin options you will see that you can copy a thread.
