Oh... well, that sounds a bit stupid... I also heard that there is very little support for Dx8... so I guess I'll just learn OpenGL.. have been planning to learn that for about a year...

I know a smidgeon of OGL as well, just make sure you get the library that declares everything for you.
Hey, Yuppers, Lol im into open gl, more so than pot and heroin :D
its very easy and simple compared to direct x, though you should use direct input and direct audio / direct play for the other parts.
