VB Compilers

I'm new programming :confused: and I need a really good *free* VB Comilers are there any out there?

Umm... Does not VB come with it's own compiler? At least I know V6 does.

As far as I know Visual Basic is owned by Microsoft and they make the only compiler. There might be other versions of Basic that have free compilers, but the syntax won't be the same.
