and attached is a really basic, not much code to go through example of what I've been trying to do - get IE to save a file rather than open it when you click on a link to the file. :eek:
Any comments will be appriciated please ;)

naw, this is the first time I've tried this, I open a link to a word file in IE & if the user has Word installed, it opens the file rather than downloading it.
I rung MS who gave me that site, but just can't get the ~:"{:$£ think to work :mad:
Help please ? :eek:

Well whenever I've rung microsoft, they've always been very keen to help. And if you press them, they usually cough up code samples too !!

yeah, I saw the site they gave me & thought okay, that's my anser, thank you, & hung up (bit too early methinks - should've looked at the site properly :rolleyes: )
I just wondered if anyone else had done this before I use another incident / call Whatever they call it

Well it all looks very server side to me ....
.... ie. creating a server ....
