How would I translate DC (direct current) into Spanish, and how would I translate AC (alternating current)? Are these both used in spain? It's for translating an English website into Spanish...

Babelfish will literally translate. You really need to get a Spanish speaker to work with you, if you want Spanish speakers to understand what you're writing.
The reason is that Spanish doesn't use huge number of nouns like English. What often happens is that 5-6 words are combined into a phrase.
I know this from having had to work on a huge healthcare enrollment package for the State of New Mexico (US). Everything here has to be presented in good Spanish as well as English. Plus, Spanish is a language cluster, not one language, which makes it really interesting when you start creating web pages.
