With the exception of Fridays I need to adhere to a dress code at work. It sucks but you get used to it!
I wear Suit and Tie every day. At least there is Air Conditioning here, else I would ming big style :o
We are Rats in a Cage.
Casual attire. Like slacks and golf shirts. And blue jeans on Friday.
blue jeans and a t-shirt every day!

Do you think you could talk them into letting you wear your birthday suit and a tie???? That could be rather fun!;)
:D
Our company seems to let Women wear what they like, even though they're meant to be smart dress/slacks.
Thongs should be made mandatory

Damn barrk,
my previous company would not say anything if i came to work wearing Pijamas, :D
We have a TWO PAGE dress code we are supposed to follow! It really used to irritate me but I've gotten used to it now! Makes me appreciate shorts and tank tops so much more when I get home!
Will you please call me Katie? Thanks!:)
Well, I HATE suits
But I hate shorts too. I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt :p
Okay Katie, i didn't know i'm allowed to do that:rolleyes:
As far as I know it's okay.....but it may be offensive to some people.
I usually wear jeans and T-shirt. But if I have to wear a suit (important meeting etc.) then I make sure I always wear a mad tie (pink panther or Donald duck or some such). I wouldn't want to be taken too seriously :)

Not much chance of that happening, SD;)
For our last day of school one of my best mates went into school wearing a Pink Panther *suit* :D
Those were comedy times, and as soon as I have photos I'll let y'all know :D I wear a suit to school, and I expect I'll have to for work as well :(
Is this common? Only the private schools wear uniforms or suits to school over here.Quote:

Well, I'm basically at a private school :) But, we're different to most of the other private schools in that we don't have to wear uniform, or even a suit. They just expect us to look smart, which basically means jacket & tie...so a suit unless you have anything else.
Is it a religious school? It's very hard (almost impossible actually) to find a private school over here that isn't a religious school or a military school.
It's a cathedral school, so we have religious services and prayers, stuff like that. It's not forced down your throat though. The Worcester Cathedral Choir all go to my school (our assembly hall used to be the monks' refectory ;))
Do you enjoy going to school there?
Well...I'm not going there anymore :( Only got to go back for exams and the last day of term and that's me out of full-time education :)
It's actually a really nice place. Most of the teachers are quite fun (someone got pissed during our last physics lesson :D) and there's loads of non-academic stuff.
Do you go through a formal graduation with cap and gown etc. like Ian did?
No. We just go off and get wasted after the exams :p
That has to be MUCH easier on your parents!
Htye nick my drink!?!?!Quote:

I can pretty much wear whatever I like though I have to be smart when seeing clients.
I used to work in a company that required a suit everyday and you get used to it very quickly.. Though its not too bad..
I wondered if anyone would notice that!Quote:

I was born in Stratford-upon-Avon so I'm as English as William Shakespeare (and the Telly Tubbies :()
"Middle England" is the term used by the media to refer to "Middle Class England"
I put it as a pun.... ;)
 Some people have no sense of humour :rolleyes:Quote:
People do tend to worry about this way too much in some bueracracies. What next, What cars we're allowed to park in the company car-park, who we can date within the company (This might involve favouritism), what food we can eat, god forbid we should have a heart attack and not be able to work! Sad Sad Sad.

Yeah, they get pretty p*ssed of when I'm stupid with clients :DQuote:
